As the spread of the coronavirus continues to surge globally, US President Donald Trump said his administration has done an “incredible job” preventing the spread of coronavirus in the country. A health official from the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has meanwhile warned it is not a question of “if” but rather “when” America will face a community spread of the virus that causes Covid-19. The state of California is already monitoring 8,400 people for signs of exposure after reported a coronavirus case of “unknown origin”, said to potentially be the first incident of the virus spreading within US communities.
