Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says wife Cheryl Hines will halt sales of her cosmetics line if he's confirmed to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
The "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actor launched her eco-friendly cosmetics collection, Hines+Young, in 2023.
"We wanted to do a self-care collection of just trying to stay calm, and feel good, and smell good," Hines said at the time about the single-use, plastic-free beauty line.
In a financial disclosure form released Wednesday by Kennedy, the environmental lawyer and founder of the anti-vaccine organization Children's Health Defense said that his wife "has agreed that Hines & Young, LLC, will stop sales of the company's cosmetic inventory no later than 90 days from the date of my appointment."
"I will not participate personally and substantially in any particular matter that to my knowledge has a direct and predictable effect on the financial interests of Hines & Young, LLC," Kennedy's financial disclosure said.
Last month, Hines posted a video that featured Kennedy showering half-naked in the background as part of a promotional effort for her beauty products.
Hines and Kennedy have been married since 2014.
Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) announced this week that Kennedy’s confirmation hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday.
